Our most sincere thanks to you and your wonderful team for the outstanding work you have done for
us. The level of service your company provides has far exceeded our expectations. The quality of
work has been wonderful. We could not have made a better choice when selecting an electrical
contractor to help us update the lighting in our late-1980's home. To say we have been pleased
with the results is an understatement.
We appreciated your thoroughness during the initial consultation and the detailed quote that allowed
us to see the cost by room. Even though we chose to do all of the work, it was helpful to see it
broken down so nicely. We really knew what we were paying for. Shane who did most of the work
in our home was a wonderful ambassador for your company. He arrived on time, always cleaned
things up at the end of the day and was polite and pleasant. We also appreciated that you were
able to dedicate one individual to completing the job instead of sending a different person each day.
The quality of the work is outstanding. We are so pleased with the finished product.
As we continue to make improvements to our home (and we already have some ideas), our choice
for all electrical work will be Ashpaugh Electric. There is no need to contact anyone else. We highly

My name is Dr. Dan A. Waxman and I am the Executive Vice President/Chief Medical Officer of the Indiana Blood Center.
My wife Sharon and I built a home in 2001 in Indianapolis. This home was built on a slab so when winter came each year
we tolerated cooler home temperatures that we felt were based on not having a lower level. However as time went on it
appeared that both our kitchen with a tile floor and our master bedroom had uniquely colder temperatures than the rest
of the house.
On suggestion of a friend, we looked into installing baseboard heaters. Through Angie's List we found Ashpaugh Electric
and as it turned out my assistant, Nyla Heiny Watson grew up with the aunt of Brian, the CEO of Ashpaugh Electric.
When I first met Brian it was on the day of inspecting my house to install the baseboard heaters. I was impressed that
he came dressed in a coat and tie, but even more so when he donned a full set of coveralls and re-breathing mask to go
up into our attic space to check out how the wire would go to our new baseboard heaters. Brian spent 30 minutes of
climbing and crawling through very tight spaces to find an opening in the roof that he could put his hand from the
inside of the house to the outside at the base of our chimney! (see enclosed photo) This was due to the roofing not
being properly installed and was just prior to the ice storm of winter 2010/11. Also, there was a significant issue
where the insulation had not been properly installed above the master bedroom which explained why that particular room
had colder temperatures (see photos).
The work that Brian and his staff performed was exemplary and we now have very warm rooms such that our thermostat for
the whole house has been turned down significantly. I want to commend Brian for his extra effort to find the building
defects that I don't believe the average electrician would have taken the time to find. We were very pleased with the
work and the price was quite reasonable. I highly recommend Ashpaugh Electric for all your home electrical needs.

how pleased I was with the electrical services your firm provided on the above project.
Your expertise, guidance and pro active approach proved invaluable for both the project
as a whole and the Owner's individual needs during the entire year long process and were

I want to thank you and your entire company for the services you have provided for our
church over the last few years. It is very refreshing to work with a company as
professional and knowledgeable as yours.
The experience and knowledge that you and Tommy brought when we needed to re-wire
our entire Sanctuary to minimize the "noise" in our new sound system really made a difference. Your ability to visualize the finished product really helped us to make decisions and improve upon the project. I know that without your constant communications and follow-up with us and the other contractors the job would have taken much longer. I really felt like you were our partner in the whole project. I will never forget seeing you, in your suit, standing on a 25 foot ladder testing a circuit! That
really proved to me how personal each project is to you.
A few months later, when it was time to remodel our Teen Center, I knew that Ashpaugh
Electric was the only electrical contractor I needed to call. This project was very complicated for me because I had never had to juggle multiple contractors and try to keep everyone on schedule. The input I received from you and Jim from the demolition stage all the way to completion of the project was invaluable to me. Both of you really helped me keep the project moving and I greatly appreciate it. As work progressed and issues came up (they always do during a remodel), Jim would always consult with me and offer his expert advice. Jim's ability to see ahead helped us to avoid several problems. Thanks to all of you our facility is a lot safer and more comfortable for our teens.
Your integrity and professionalism really showed when we had problems with the ballasts in three of the new light fixtures you installed in our Fellowship Hall. Even though the fixtures were just out of warranty, you took the time to troubleshoot the problem and discuss it with the manufacturer. Even though the manufacturer was not willing to stand behind their product, you stood behind your work. I cannot tell you how surprised and impressed I was when your men showed up with scaffolding and replaced all of the ballasts at no cost to us. Shane and his crew were here for two days working on
the ballasts and insisted on cleaning up the area even though I told him we were not going to be using the Fellowship Hall for a few days. Shane's professionalism and attention to detail were very much appreciated by all of us.
Whenever I hear of anyone needing an electrician, Ashpaugh Electric is the only company I recommend. I have nothing but good things to say about your company and every employee I came into contact with. Thank you!

Upon contacting the company and asking for an estimate, Steve Bryson came out and I explained what I thought we wanted in the basement, with the caveat that my wife might want to make changes before the plans were finalized. Steve wrote up the estimate and emailed it to us. We accepted the estimate, and Jim Pursell arrived shortly before 8 am on the scheduled morning. I told Jim that if he had any questions, he should work with my wife. While the initial estimate was three to four days, it actually took Jim, with additional help along the way, six days to complete the project. The extra days were partially my fault; I failed to fully explain a couple of items I wanted. Both items were corrected by Ashpaugh Electric. We are very impressed with the quality and professionalism of the electricians and quality of the finished project .

Mr. Ashpaugh was very thorough and professional when he arrived to give us an estimate for the work we wanted done. He pointed out the fire hazard of the 2 existing can lights above the fireplace. He went into the attic and did a thorough inspection for the new electric lines that needed to be added to complete the work. The whirlpool tub in the master bath and an electrical outlet in the laundry room did not work. He showed us why they didn't work and how to fix these by using the electric panel in the garage. We appreciated that help a lot. The workers, Ton, Gary, and Wes arrived on time. They were professional, clean, courteous, and explained any questions we had while doing the work. They cleaned up after themselves. We were pleased with the results.

Ashpaugh Electric was contracted to perform electrical work throughout the church. Three things that were noticed during their time of service were: Ashpaugh Electric was dedicated to quality of work, concern for their customers, and a company that backs up their word.
During an initial visit, an electrical panel was left off the electrical box. The owner of the company, Brian Ashpaugh, called to notify us of the situation and drove from Noblesville to the church to put this panel back on, even though he was told it could wait until the following day. Performing this task demonstrated how Ashpaugh Electric is committed to quality. Also during the initial inspection, Ashpaugh Electric found potential hazards in the church that could have caused fires and harm to individuals. These hazards were taken care of ASAP, but this also demonstrates that Ashpaugh Electric cares about their customers. Finally, the church purchased lighting fixtures for our Fellowship Hall and was told that these were top grade fixtures. Over the course of several years, some of these fixtures stop working. The first fixture was covered under warranty, but the manufacturer was unwilling to warranty the last two. Instead of the church having to purchase new units, Ashpaugh Electric installed new ballast to correct the problem. Although the church offered to pay, Brian said that the church purchased top grade units and should not have to cover the expense. Ashpaugh Electric also investigated why we were having trouble with the ballast burning out and corrected the problem at their expense. Again, this demonstrates that Ashpaugh Electric will back up their word.
We have never regretted hiring Ashpaugh Electric for their service and would highly recommend them to anyone having electrical needs.

Brian,
I want to thank you for the service you provided to me for my recent home electrical repair. Your electrician, Tommy, was not only an expert at what he was doing; but, he also went above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty to make sure that my job was done well. In fact, Tommy treated the repair as if he were repairing his own home.
The repair was necessary because a previous electrician (not from Ashpaugh Electric) was only interested in slapping the job together as quickly as he could. It was functional but poorly done. As a result, the installation of the meter base was coming off the wall. If the installer had taken the time to do it well, it would have lasted for decades. When Tommy came on site, he immediately knew what to do and worked diligently to make sure it was installed properly this time. He could have just thrown a couple of screws into the meter base and made it stick. However, as I mentioned before, he would not do that on his own house, and he did not do it on mine.
After the job was successfully completed, the Power Company was delayed in coming back to turn on the power from the street. Tommy felt compelled to wait for them to reconnect the power, despite the fact that it caused him great personal inconvenience. He wanted to make sure there were no problems. This reflects the character of the people of your company. From the first contact to the last, Ashpaugh Electric treated me as though I was their most important customer rather than just a little repair.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Ashpaugh Electric to anyone who cares to ask me about it. In fact, I would relish the opportunity to tell anyone. If you would like to use me as a reference, please do so.
